What a difference a year really can make. Much has changed since November 11th of last year for the Proffitt family. Let’s review some of the major changes: 1. We live 850 miles away from where we lived last year 2. We are planting a new Aletheia Church 3. We lost a member of our family and 4. We are pregnant with yet another boy. Most people like to spread at least a couple of those out but not us. Nope! We like to cram everything into one year. That’s how we roll. Actually, that is just how it all happened to work out in God’s sovereign plan. As we embark on the one year mark of losing our son Aaden this Sunday, I can’t help but look back and say “man, that was a hard year!” At times, this past year has been unbearable. but at the end of the day, we can still say that our God is faithful and that He cares about us.

Here is how our family has changed since last November 11th. As you can see, The Lord gives and He takes away. In the second pic, Ashlee is a couple months pregnant with the newest addition Asher Nathaniel. Our family will not be complete again until the day we are all reunited in heaven. Can’t wait for that.
