Small update
So we got through our first “official” service two nights ago and it was interesting to say the least. Many who we thought would show up didn’t show up and God brought a slew of other new people who we were clueless as to why they were there. In total, we had 20 new visitors. That’s crazy considering that was a little more than a third of the people who came out. God brought who He wanted to bring to us last night. Not what I expected but God likes to keep me on my toes. In the end we had our largest attended event to date, the service went off without a hitch, and I think people really enjoyed it. Being as new as we are, it’s hard to get a true read on where this whole thing is headed at this point but if Sunday night is any indication, I think we have lots to look forward to. I must say that I have the best team of committed volunteers. Our people stepped up last night and God really used them to help make it a great experience. Now that we got that first one over with, we are ready to move forward to the next step. On Sunday we started our new series. We will be moving through chapter 3 of Philippians and talking about having a “Clear View” of our lives, our circumstances, our ministries, and God. It should be fun. I got to talk about circumcision last night for the launch service….that was fun
I don’t have any pictures from the big night right now, but I’m sure Ashlee will put some up on facebook or her blog soon. Here is our new series art work that Ace did. Pretty sweet. Thanks for praying for us.

Glad it went well dude… love you guys!!
Actually Aaron…you didn’t have 60…you had 500+ at aletheiaJMU, tons of people in Richmond, ODU, Aletheia Tuxtla (Chiapas, Mexico). This is national and global. Lot of people are grateful for the huge vision you and Ashlee and team members demonstrate. A few more weeks and months from this past Sunday…and the chair crew at USF will be really, really, busy. People need what you guys are bringing. Bring more food, get ready…
Well I must say it was nice to kind of stumble into the service on sunday night and I very much enjoyed your exegesis of that particular passage. So I guess in a very basic way I am just saying I am excited and encouraged by your ministry on campus it seems like one of the first ones I have found on campus where people really are seeking and focused on the Lord
See you Sunday!
