Monday night almost never happened

As you can deduce from the subject line, Aletheia Tampa’s second ever large group gathering on USF’s campus on Monday night almost never was. Reason being, we showed up at the Marshall student Center only to hear the front desk people telling us that we didn’t have a room. I proceeded to say “what!?” They then proceeded to say “Yep, that’s right.” Well, after some pleading and intense begging, and after we said we would do whatever we needed to do to get a room, we had a room along with $100 less bucks in our name. God is so faithful because actually no campus organization was allowed to use the Marshall Student Center during finals week and guess what? It was finals week.

But low and behold, we got a room and we subsequently had a great second ever on-campus meeting. I was so pumped to have Graham here finally to handle the worship duties for me. He did a great job. We had some new people too. And the spread was spectacular. We served a full course meal compliments of course of Ashlee. At the end of the night, I was pretty brain-fried, but I felt great about what God did. He is building momentum quickly and we’ve only been here four weeks. I am looking forward to the future. My transition as Bible teacher is proving to be quite challenging but nonetheless, I am enjoying communicating the Word to this awesome group that God has assembled. And I have to keep telling myself that the best is yet to come. This is just the beginning.

Here are some pics from Monday night. Thanks Shay and Ashlee!
