Jimmy Swaggert is still kickin’
My dad and I have always had this joke that if a pastor is doing the worship and the teaching on a Sunday morning, then he is pulling a Jimmy Swaggert. For those of you who do not know who Jimmy Swaggert is, well then let me tell you. He is a televangelist from the 1980′s who got himself into some trouble if you know what I’m sayin’. At the climax of his ministry, he was doing it all…preaching and leading music.
On Monday, I once again did the teaching and the leading of music for our gathering. Believe me it was awesome and I had a lot of fun doing it but I felt like Swaggert a bit and in no way do I ever want to be like that guy. Kids, take it from me…don’t be like Jimmy Swaggert.
Anyways, we had our largest group out yet on a Monnday night. Things are going splendidly. This coming Monday, we will meet for the first time on USF’s campus. We are so stoked about it. Here are some pics from the last Bible study in the “Dude Apartment.”

Awesome! No doubt that God has his hand on you bro. Just thankful that I have you as a big-brother in Christ to look up to and serve alongside in this great movement of God. Greater things are yet to come!
