It’s almost here…
After almost 8 years of ministering, living, and building a family (both spiritual and nuclear) in Harrisonburg, the time has come for me to move off the scene. If you would have told me 8 years ago that I would spend this much time in this little town I would have laughed at you, but I have grown to love this city. It has become my home. Aletheia church is here. I bought my first home here. My sister met her husband here. I met my wife here. My sons were born here. I buried my son here. I have so many memories here that it seems as though I have lived a lifetime here.
This Saturday will be a bitter-sweet day. I will have to leave my home which is sad to think about. But God has called us to expand the vision that He has for Aletheia Church. I will not fight that. Tampa beckons us now and we are stoked about that. We can’t wait to establish new memories and see a new church raised up. We can’t wait to meet all of the new people that god is going to put into our paths. We can’t wait to see countless more lives changed for Christ. I am nervous to say the least but it is almost an excited nervousness; the kind I used to get before a big game back in my college basketball days. I knew that it was going to be so much fun to get out on that court and play and I know presently that we are going to have so much fun doing God’s work in Tampa at USF. So here we come! The time is here. It’s hard to believe.
Yesterday my church family sent Ashlee and I off with one of the most loving expressions I have ever felt. We know that we are loved and appreciated and that means so much. Thanks to all of you for making our last day the best day and the one that we will remember the most. As I worshiped with my church family here in Harrisonburg one last time yesterday morning, I was comforted to know that the people of this church are going to do more in the coming years than I could have ever dreamed of doing myself. God has some big plans in store for the church in Harrisonburg and I am just so privileged to have been a small part in that.

im so excited to have you here with me!!
You rock man… God’s going to use you down in Tampa in more amazing ways than you could ever imagine.
By the way, was just catching up on your blog and just remembered, your first house was the location of my 1st small group (pretty awesome). I have a really good feeling your next house is gonna serve the same purpose for many others. Did I mention, you rock?
AP-
It’s been an awesome time learning form and serving alongside you and Ashlee for the past 5 years at Aletheia Harrisonburg. I’m looking forward to the future and whatever it holds!
It’s not going to be the same around here without you, but God is definitely going to continuing doing work through your vision of the Aletheia Ministry.
Tampa is going to be awesome!God is going to use you all like crazy down there to win the hearts and minds at USF for Him. Can’t wait to see it grow!
Love you bro!
