Babies and Such
So I’m an uncle again as of this past Friday. At 330pm on Friday afternoon at UVA hospital in Charlottesville, my sister Amy went into premature labor and had a semi-emergency c-section to get the newest addition out of her body. Camden Isaiah came into the world with slits for eyes, jet black hair, and the cutest face. Amy traditionally has big babies, there is no way of getting around that. That’s why it’s good Camden came 3 and a half weeks early. My first nephew Micah was 9 pounds 4 ounces. Camden weighed in at 7 pounds 10 ounces. Imagine if that little man would have hung out in her belly for the full 40 weeks. There would have been some records broken, no doubt about it. The best news about it all is that both mom and baby are healthy and home resting. Here’s proof of the big event…
Now it’s my turn. Baby number two is due any day now. Ashlee had her doctor’s appointment this morning and the doctor told her he would be surprised if she made it through the weekend. Wow! This is really happening. Please pray for little Aaden Sage Proffitt and for Ashlee and that the delivery will go as smoothly as possible. We are excited to welcome the new addition to our family.
Along with all of the baby news, things around Aletheia are going incredibly well. We had another great Sunday worship experience this past weekend with lots of people and lots of fun. A big thanks to Dr. Jeff Ginn for taking time out of his busy schedule to come and speak to our people. We were so encouraged by his presence. God is so faithful, I really can’t stress that enough.
