Aletheia’s vision
Hey all,
We had a great weekend at Aletheia. Thanks to all of you who came out to be a part of the worship experience on Sunday. Our summer crowd is continuing to grow each passing year. It’s funny that what started out to be just a college church has turned into a multi-generational community of people who love Jesus and are passionate about seeing the Great Commission fulfilled in people’s lives. There are hardly any students in town this summer and we are still seeing a nice group come out each week to worship with us. Thanks to those of you who are in town, who continue to make aletheia your church home and who continue to catch the vision.
Speaking of vision, Kaitlin put together a video that we showed at the Aletheia Norfolk interest/fundraising meeting this past Saturday. For those of you who don’t know where we have come from as a ministry, or don’t know where we are today, or don’t know where we are headed in the future, please check this video out…ALETHEIA’S VISION. Our vision is to see not just a campus reached, or even a couple campus’ reached in Virginia…our vision extends to the entire nation, wherever there may be a need for a ministry like Aletheia in a college setting. Join us in our quest to see college campus’ reached across America. We need your constant prayers. Thank you.
Before we sent everyone off on Sunday, I through a challenge out to our congregation. I told our people to grab a couple of the brand new invite cards (that Ashlee designed…yep, I had to throw that in there) and to get out and invite some of their friends, relatives, neighbors, co-workers, and fellow students. For those of you who were here on Sunday I hope those cards aren’t still sitting on your coffee or kitchen table. I hope that you guys really did give those out to someone in your life who needs to be reached and who might respond well to the environment at Aletheia.
