Choose God
Good day to everyone,
I hope each of you is having an awesome week so far. A big thanks to all of you who came out to our worship experience this past Sunday. We had fun rocking out with you and being challenged by Pastor Dave as we were all asked the question “which will you choose?” It was a very tough reminder to everyone that we all have a choice to make in life. We can choose to obey God or we can choose to waste our days by seeking out other things. Remember, we only got to 1 out of 5 points so you will not want to miss out on part 2 of this message this coming Sunday. If you missed the first part please get on our web site and listen to the podcast (www.aletheiachurch.com).
We were also so incredibly blessed and privileged to have the Aletheia Richmond crew worship with us Sunday morning. About 20 of the core people of our sister church in Richmond were with us and we were blown away by the amazing testimonies of Jason and Erin. They spoke about what God had been doing in their lives over the past year or so and how God led them both to serve with Aletheia Richmond. We heard about how Jason was held at gun point and how he asked the man to take his life because his life had no purpose or meaning. That all changed when he prayed to receive the free gift of salvation. Jason spoke of the instantaneous transformation that took place in his life when he submittted it to Christ. We also heard Erin speak about the high profile government job that she had received right out of college and the opportunity for promotion and all the perks thast came with it and how she gave it all up to serve God in Richmond with Aletheia. Our church body in Harrisonburg was also introduced to Pastor Josh Soto and his wonderful wife Chantel. We prayed for them and their ministry and that God would lead and guide them.
For those of us who were at Aletheia on Sunday we all came away encouraged and excited about who God is and what we can be with Him guiding us. Let’s choose Him this week in all that we do and let’s see how productive and effective we can become as we seek to serve God the best that we know how.
Have a great rest of your week.
I look forward to your comments.

Jason and Erin, your testimonies were really incredible. It’s always great to be shown through new accounts of changed lives how beautiful God’s love is. Thanks a lot to both of you.
Erin’s testimony really touched me. I know for myself, it seems like we spend so much time trying to reach a goal, and sometimes I tend to forget my priorities. Hearing how she opened her life to God’s calling is amazing. And the fact that she was so in tune with God that there was no question as to what was right. WOW. Praise God!
Hey friends,
We have gotten real busy with a couple of project that God has put in our path. I feel comfortable just knowing what you guys are doing as you surrender to God’s leading daily. He stacks up the elements until the vision comes clear and then all we have to do is to take each step in front of us that has His light on it. It appears that is what is happening with you and your ministry. We are all just willing vessels and His Spirit is the real teacher. We only visited a couple of times and then God obviously steered us in another direction. It is just a sign of the times. God wants us to be part of something that is productive and there really isn’t any time for second guessing Him. Day to day surrender and day to day instructions followed will get us to the prize.
God bless you and your ministry. Keep everyone, in the body there, busy and give them something to do. It is essential that each person feels they are serving. Let God do the promoting and watch the flowers grow.
Have a great day in Jesus as He is in the Father.
